Color Me Mine.
Still figuring out a gift for Dad on Father's Day?  Come to Color Me Mine!

COLOR ME MINE is the leader in the Paint-it-Yourself ceramics industry.
Our New York City location has over 400 pieces to choose from, once you made your selection you can paint it anyway you like, we take care of the glazing and firing and it's ready within a week. We have an exclusive design center with 60 colors, brushes, stencils, stamps and a computer with over 25,000 images to download and trace on to the pieces.

Color Me Mine is a friendly place where one can create artwork on the pottery piece of your choice. Whether you are 5,25,55, or 105 years old we can help bring out the artist in you.

All our paints are non-toxic, lead free, and are food-safe. They are dishwasher safe as well. Pieces range from $12 to $95, and there's also a studio fee of $12 for adults and $8 for kids, that's a flat rate, you can stay AS LONG AS YOU LIKE...

Missed Connections

So, as you may know, it is exactly a week to our open mic event! This semester's theme is Missed Connections, named after the popular Craigslist personals page.  Now, don't lie -- I know you've looked at that page and wondered if the person described was you, or what the story was behind a sad, regretful MC ad that declared love to a nameless person out there.  The truth is, we all find stories like these compelling, especially in the city, where anonymity and getting lost in the crowd can be quite common.  We all want to be noticed and have our happy endings.

FICTION/NON-FICTION MEETING

The fic/non-fic editorial meeting is TOMORROW, MONDAY MAY 2nd AT 3pm SHARP. You have to have all the fiction AND non-fiction pieces by this time. If you can't make it, let Angela know immediately. You can only get credit for editing if you are physically there or if you leave substantial written comments on all the pieces in your folder for us to consider.

Yesterday's poetry meeting went great. We selected 9 poems for publication and will send out emailed results within the next week or two. Please check your emails, and accepted writers, send us your writer's statement/bio ASAP.

See you at the meeting!
