Spring 2012
CONTEST DEADLINE: APRIL 1
REGULAR DEADLINE: APRIL 15
(that means 11:59pm =D)
What to know before you submit work to us!
- We're now using an online submission manager called Submittable (take a look below). We will not take hard-copy submissions.
- Any submission without an online contract won't be reviewed by editors.
- Contributing authors and artists retain original copyright ownership of their work before and after publication.
- If you're an editor you can still submit work as long as it retains its anonymity. If you identify the piece as yours during the meeting, it'll be withdrawn.
- ALL contest submissions will turn over to the regular submission pool after April 1st and be considered for publication.
Our page dimensions are 8.5” x 5.5”, so files should be no smaller than that. It's highly recommended that images are larger than approx. 1500 pixels on the smallest side. Keep this in mind when you're photographing or scanning. The larger your image is the larger we can print it!
There is a 10 image limit per student per semester. Please tailor your portfolio accordingly and submit each piece separately.
If you need help producing digital images for submission (i.e. taking photos of paintings, sculptures, or scanning prints), please contact managing and we'll arrange a meeting to help you take a photo of your artwork!
